Growing up in Berks County, PA, I was surrounded by Pennsylvania Dutch imagery. These FRAKTUR socks are a tribute to the fraktur drawings that commonly adorned 18th- and 19th-century birth and wedding certificates in PA (and even today –– my official wedding certificate issued by the county has printed fraktur illustrations!).

These socks feature the common fraktur motifs of hearts, flowers, and distelfinks (a stylized goldfinch). They really remind me of home, and I hope you also feel the love behind the design!
