BROOKLYN FLEA IS BACK!

The Brooklyn Flea has reopened in Williamsburg on Saturdays (51 N. 6th St. and Kent Ave.) and Dumbo (under the arch at 80 Pearl St.) on Sundays, 10am to 5pm. You can find THIS NIGHT's sock stand under a small black polka dot tent in Williamsburg and under the arch in Dumbo. (I'm there almost every weekend, but please double check THIS NIGHT's Instagram account just to make sure.) I hope you can stop by! :) (In this picture you can see my Flea neighbor and friend, Andrea, of Savannah Hope Studio. She makes amazing soaps and other natural products as well as ceramics!)

THIS NIGHT now in Renegade Craft Shop!

Hello! I'm happy to report that THIS NIGHT's Katsura check socks (in navy + lake, navy + jade, and rust + black) are now available at the Renegade Craft Shop. If you're not familiar with Renegade, it is a really nice organization that runs craft shows where everything is something you might like to own or buy as a gift. I've participated in them in Boston and NYC and had been hoping to have my first-ever West Coast event at the Renegade Craft Show in San Francisco last April (which was, of course, cancelled). Renegade hasn't had any in-person craft fairs for the past year, but the folks there are really trying to support all the small businesses and artisans that are in their shows by having an online shop with products they select. Very happy and grateful to be a part of this! :)

Giving Socks, Helping Kids!

This week (Monday through Friday), THIS NIGHT is donating $2/pair sold online to three wonderful organizations that help kids! As you may know, THIS NIGHT always donates $1/pair sold online shared between two great nonprofits: the Reading Olivet Boys & Girls Club –– which helps kids and teens in my hometown of Reading, PA, where THIS NIGHT socks were developed and knit until the mill was shut down by its new corporate owners –– and the Catawba County Partnership for Children, which helps kids in the area in North Carolina where THIS NIGHT socks are now knit.

This week, THIS NIGHT is donating an additional $1/pair sold online to Fresh Youth Initiatives! I just learned about this great nonprofit, which serves the area in Northern Manhattan where I live and whose mission is "to empower youth who have the fewest resources to reach their greatest potential." What greater mission could there be? THIS NIGHT is so very happy to know about and support this wonderful organization.
